BIOGRAPHY

 

Dr. Azra Anis received her Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery at Dow Medical College – Karachi University, Pakistan in 1984. She became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow, UK in 1996. In 2009, she became a fellow in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of Milan, Bicocca, Italy.

 

Currently, she is a member of the Royal Society of Medicine in the UK, International Society of Cardiovascular Surgery, European Society of Vascular Surgeons, European Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgeons, International Society of Vascular Surgery, Gulf Vascular Society, Emirates Vascular Society, Emirates Medical Association, Royal Society of Medicine, General Medical Council and Royal College of Physicians & Surgeon of Glasgow. Dr. Azra's vascular experience includes traumatic vascular injuries, peripheral limb ischemia, arterial aneurysms, angio access for dialysis, varicose venous disease, deep vein thrombosis, and chronic wound management in diabetic feet and varicose ulcers.

 

With more than 3 decades of experience in the UAE, Dr. Azra is well known for her extensive vascular expertise amongst the medical community. Her patient-centered approach to healthcare is reflected by the high regard she is held in by the patients she has looked after.
